Toa Ranch-Baracoa

Just eight kilometers outside the city of Baracoa, on the banks of the Toa River, is a delightful restaurant in a natural setting serving the most authentic of traditional Cuban cuisine in the world.  The ranch caters tourists but is inhabited and worked by locals who’ll share in elements of their daily life, their customs, the unique architecture of their homes and their primary means of transportation through the Toa, Cuba’s largest river. You can even take an optional ride on a “cayuca” or kayak while enjoying the majestic view of el Yunque, the flat mountain that is the symbol of Baracoa.
