Catedral San Isidoro de Holguin
The Cathedral of San Isidoro was inaugurated between 1818 and 1820. It is a solid building with three wide doors and embedded columns. Its Moorish interiors boast carefully crafted, attractive wooden ceilings, conserving the elaborate Mudejar style of carpentry prevalent in Holguin City. The cathedral marks that start of a natural pedestrian path that will take you through Holguin’s city centre, designed in the Moorish style, complete with plazas and parks.
